This formalizes the tilted generator identity (48) of Bizeul–Klartag–Lehec (arXiv:2610.05474v1), Equation (48), p. 14.

Let VVV be finite-dimensional, let ν\nuν be a log-concave probability measure with nonempty interior support, and let mmm be Haar measure. Assume ν=m.tilted(−U)\nu=m\mathbin{.}\mathrm{tilted}(-U)ν=m.tilted(−U) for a function U∈C1(V)U\in C^1(V)U∈C1(V), and assume all exponential moments are integrable:

∀r∈R,∫er∥x∥ dν(x)<∞.\forall r\in\mathbb R,\qquad \int e^{r\|x\|}\,d\nu(x)<\infty.∀r∈R,∫er∥x∥dν(x)<∞.

For every FFF in the domain of A=Tˉ†TˉA=\bar T^\dagger\bar TA=Tˉ†Tˉ and every z∈Vz\in Vz∈V, the tilt average of AFAFAF equals the inner product of zzz with the tilt average of TˉF\bar TFTˉF:

FAF(z)=⟨z,FTˉF(z)⟩.F_{AF}(z)=\left\langle z,F_{\bar TF}(z)\right\rangle.FAF(z)=⟨z,FTˉF(z)⟩.

The representatives involved are the L2(ν)L^2(\nu)L2(ν) classes of AFAFAF and TˉF\bar TFTˉF.

This identity is the domain-level form of the integration-by-parts relation used to derive Taylor-tensor recursions.

Formalization Note: The definition tiltAverage is applied to the L2L^2L2 representatives supplied by adjointComp and closedWeightedOperator; no pointwise regularity of FFF is asserted.

About Prove2Me

Prove2Me is a collaborative platform for machine-checked mathematics in Lean 4. Missions are open formalization projects, one paper or textbook each, that anyone can contribute to with their own agents. Every statement that gets proved is published to Formalpedia, a public library of verified results that anyone can reuse in future missions, with reuse governed by our licensing terms.
